A Santa Fe College student reported missing from the Northwest campus at approximately 6:40 p.m. has been located. Students, faculty, and staff are advised that there is no immediate threat and that all classes and office hours are to proceed as regularly scheduled at all campus locations.
Police are searching for a possible suspect. The victim has described a light-skinned Hispanic or black male, wearing a dark hoodie and jeans, with close-cut hair, and an unidentifiable tattoo on his right hand. The suspect’s vehicle is reportedly a small, single cab, black pick-up truck with tinted windows and grey interior.
The Santa Fe College Police Department is working diligently with the Alachua County Sheriff’s Office and the Gainesville Police Department to locate this person of interest.
