What You Need to Know to Vote in the Jan. 31 Election

Absentee Voting

To have an absentee ballot mailed to you, please call 374-5252 no later than 5 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 25. All ballots must be returned to the Supervisor of Elections office no later than 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31. Your ballot may not count if your signature does not match the signature on your voter record.

Signature update

You may update your signature at any time by submitting a completed voter registration form to the Supervisor of Elections office.

Early Voting sites

Early voting begins Saturday, Jan. 21, and ends on Saturday, Jan. 28. There will be three early voting sites available for this election: The Supervisor of Elections Office in the County Administration Building, 12 SE 1st St.; Millhopper Branch Library, 3145 NW 43rd St.; and Tower Road Branch Library, 3020 SW 75th St.

Early Voting hours

  • 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 21 and 22
  • 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, Jan. 23-27
  • 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28

Election Day

On Tuesday, Jan. 31, the polls are open 7 a.m. – 7 p.m. Please remember, Florida Law requires that you vote in the precinct of your residence, and that you provide a picture and signature ID, or you will need to vote a provisional ballot.
