We need your help! At 1 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 15, Santa Fe College Police will lead student and community volunteers in canvassing the area where an 18-year-old Santa Fe College student was kidnapped on Thursday. Specifically, volunteers will search for the victim’s backpack and cell phone.
- Volunteers should park in the lot to the south of the Gym, and then walk up to the parking lot between the Teaching Zoo and Little School.
- You must be dressed in long pants and closed-toe shoes to participate.
- You need to be checked in by 1 p.m. sharp. (If you’re late, you won’t be allowed to participate.)
- Come hydrated. It is also recommended that you wear a long-sleeve shirt, hat, and sunscreen.
- The volunteer sign-in table opens at 12:30 p.m. Procedures for the canvass will be covered at 1 p.m.
- All volunteers must be willing to follow the direction of designated team leaders.
