Become an Adviser

Student organizations need you! Student Life is looking for faculty and staff members who might be interested in advising a student organization. As new student groups form or their current advisers leave the college or move on, we’d like to have a list of potential advisers for groups to contact.

An adviser’s four main functions are: to help with the growth and development of students; to add to the continuity of the group as members graduate — advisers can provide consistency and communicate the goals, legacy and history to future generations of members; to assist in the area of program content and purpose; to provide leadership in the areas of purchasing and travel, as explained in the Student Organization Adviser Handbook.

Please email Brandy Burgess if you would like to add your name to this list.
