Please join Professor Naima Brown for a presentation entitled “The 30-Minute Internationalization Experience: Using Skype to Engage Students In Cross-Cultural Exchanges” at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 27 in E-103. Since 2007, Dr. Brown has used Skype to connect students in her SF Social Problems classes to students at Tullängsskolan, a technical college in Örebro, Sweden.
This presentation is designed to prepare SF faculty to connect their students to people in other parts of the world using Skype. The practical steps, proven benefits, and potential challenges involved in using Skype in the classroom will be discussed.
