FINAL REGULAR SEASON HOME BASKETBALL GAMES FEBRUARY 18 AT 2 AND 4 PM
Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe men’s and women’s basketball teams play their final home games of the season on Saturday, February 17 against Florida State College – Jacksonville. The women tip things off at 2:00 PM and the men follow at 4:00 PM. For fans unable to attend the basketball games, both can be watched live on www.psblive.com.
Coach Chanda Stebbins and the women (7-21, 1-9 MFC) look to end their season on a positive note after a rough Mid-Florida Conference schedule.
The men (23-4, 8-2 MFC) and head coach Chris Mowry currently hold a half a game lead over College of Central Florida for first place in the MFC. Should the Saints win out, they will secure at least a tie with CCF and guarantee themselves a spot in the FCSAA State Tournament March 7-10 at Chipola College in Marianna, FL.
The final games of the regular season for the Saints will take place on February 25. The men travel to St. John’s River State College and the women finish up at Hillsborough CC.
