Santa Fe’s Model United Nations team participated in the Midwest Model United Nations (MMUN)Conference in St. Louis this past weekend. Our team of 12 competed against over 500 students from universities in the Midwest and earned an honorable mention for representing Malta.
Three team members–Simon Persico, Katey Sands and Kyle Gomez–earned outstanding delegate awards for their individual work representing Malta in the Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) and the General Assembly Sixth Committee.
The team will compete next at the Harvard World Model United Nations (WorldMUN) Conference scheduled to take place in Vancouver, Canada in mid-March. Please be sure to congratulate our team for their fine work this past weekend.
