Faces, Voices and Hearts: The Haiti Project

Faces, Voices and Hearts: The Haiti Project

Under the marvelous direction of Gregg Jones, Theatre Santa Fe presents an original theatrical production titled “Faces, Voices and Hearts – The Haiti Project.” Theatre students from both Haiti and Santa Fe College explore the process of healing through the arts. They express this healing process in a mixed-media docudrama using theatre, dance, music and film.

Treat yourself to the magnificent arts on one of our four scheduled performance dates. The first performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, April 5. The second performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 6. A panel discussion and audience Q&A will follow this show. The third performance will be at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 7. The final performance will be at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 8. Each performance will be held at Santa Fe College’s Fine Arts Hall.

The show’s gala opening will occur on Friday, and will feature an after-show reception, silent auction, music, and exhibits of Haitian art in the Fine Arts Hall lobby. All proceeds will be donated to the Haitian artists and organizations that appear in the performance. The show will also include a special sneak preview/trailer of the coming documentary.
