Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Female Entrepreneurs in the Community

With entrepreneurs and start-ups everywhere you turn here in Gainesville, come out to see a panel of something you don’t see every day: women starting businesses! Whether you’re a fledgling entrepreneur yourself or just want to hear some inspiring women speak about their success, this event will encompass a plethora of issues concerning start-ups. Kristen Hadeed of Student Maid, Stephanie and Susan Browning of Sakara Sweets Cafe, and Rebecca Barborak of Corks and Colors will join us to discuss their journeys as they began their thriving businesses, noting the struggles they encountered coming into a field that is primarily run by men. Food will be provided. This event will be held at 7 P.M. Monday, March 26 at the Reitz Union in room 349. We hope to see you there!
