It is again time for our annual Personal Health Risk Assessments offered to all full-time employees by BCBS of Florida. All full-time employees who participate in the personal health risk assessment will receive a voucher for a free Santa Fe Subway healthy lunch.
The 2012 Health Risk Assessments will begin on April 3, 2012 and all full-time employees are encouraged to participate. The “wellness incentive” program provides an opportunity for employees who participate in Santa Fe’s PPO, HMO or HRA health care plans to earn incentives for engaging in a variety of wellness related activities. You can earn a $25 reward certificate, redeemable at a variety of local vendors, just for participating in the on-site “Personal Health Risk Assessment”, offered on April 3rd, 4th, 5th & 6th . By participating in various activities outlined on your personal BCBS website, you will earn points toward your next $25 incentive. Employees who continue their participation can earn an additional $50 reward certificate for 2012.
Why is BCBS willing to create such an enticing incentive program? Because, the only way to mitigate the rising costs of health care and stabilize insurance premiums is to work together to promote healthier employees. If the college is successful in securing participation by at least 50% of the BCBS covered employees, funds will be awarded for our 2013 wellness program.
