Students, faculty, and staff are invited to receive afree blood glucose screening between 8:30 a.m. and noon today, in the Health Sciences Annex.
It is estimated that 26 million Americans live with the chronic disease of diabetes, many of whom do not know they have it. Diabetes is one of the leading causes of cardiovascular disease, stroke, kidney disease, heart attack, and amputations.
