Blount Center Block Party
The Block party will offer free BBQ and activities 4 – 6 p.m. There will be arts and crafts, face painting and spin art entertainment, good music and fun! Sponsored by Student Government, Student Life, Blount Center Student Activities Advisory Committee and the Black Student Union.
Luminaria Sales
The Luminaria committee will be fundraising for the American Cancer Society by selling Luminaria from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. in S-Breezeway. Each bag is $5 and will be used to light up the track at the 2012 Gainesville Relay for Life. Decorate a bag to honor a survivor in your life or memorialize a loved one lost to cancer. If you have photographs that you would like to be included in the Luminaria ceremony slide show please bring those to the table to be scanned in or email them to Jessa Carpenter.
