Scott Fortner in the Health Sciences Counseling office said 80 members of the Santa Fe College community showed up for the blood sugar screening yesterday offered by The Diabetes Center. That’s about 30 more people than last year.
“People were lining up before they even started,” Fortner said. “We’re thrilled at the turnout.”
Anyone with a “high” result was urged to follow-up with their physician.
