The Santa Fe College softball team has faced its share of adversity this season.
In attempting to win their eighth consecutive Mid-Florida Conference championship, the Saints had to battle through numerous injuries and growing pains.
SFC came up just short of winning its conference, as it was swept on the final day of the regular season by Florida State College-Jacksonville, but it will get a chance to make some noise at the FSCAA State Tournament, which begins today at Exchange Park in Pensacola.
