The Santa Fe Welding Program proudly graduated four of its students this spring term. Brian Berry, Josh Potter, Michael Pratt and Charles Todd. A small ceremony was held in the welding classroom on the last day of class, followed by a potluck dinner.
Brian Berry will continue to work at a local bicycle shop and use his welding skills there.
Josh Potter, whose family is in the power business, earned the very difficult overhead pipe certification. He is hoping to get a pipefitters apprenticeship in Tampa and where he can hone his welding and pipefitting skills working power plant shut downs and outages.
Michael Pratt, who has family in Texas in the oil industry, plans to move out there and find work in that industry.
Charles Todd will continue his education in the Automotive Program.
