Santa Fe College hosted the seventh annual Florida Model United Nations (FMUN) conference Friday and Saturday, September 28 and 29. Approximately 200 students from ten colleges and universities in the state participated in this event.
Santa Fe’s Model United Nations team earned a distinguished delegation award for representing India and an honorable mention for representing South Africa. Three of our members–Andrea Taboada, Rupa Bose and Peter Surrette–won individual awards for their performance. In addition, SF’s former MUN president, Simon Persico, helped his UF team win an outstanding delegation award for representing Belgium.
