State Representative Keith Perry (R-Gainesville) announced Tuesday that the annual legislative delegation hearing for Alachua County has been scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11. Each year the delegation, which includes Senator Rob Bradley and Representative Clovis Watson, holds a public hearing in order to provide local officials and the public an opportunity to discuss any issues of interest with their legislators. “We look forward to hearing from local officials and the citizens of Alachua County about state issues which may be of concern to them,” said Perry. “It is important to the delegation to have input from the people who have elected us to office so that we can go to Tallahassee and take the message of the voters with us.”
The delegation hearing will be held in the Santa Fe College Kirkpatrick Center, located at 3737 Northeast 39th Avenue, Gainesville, FL 32609.
