The CIED’s Community Education program offers recreation and leisure courses that promote lifelong learning. Winter term registration begins Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013. For phone-in and walk-in registration, office hours are 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and the number to call is 352-395-5193. Registration will also open online the same day at http://www.sfcollege.edu/cied/communityed/. Classes begin the week of Jan. 19. Some of the new courses include Latin Basics for Couples, Me Sing? Yes, I Can Learn!, Effective Parenting, Get the Most Out of Your iPad and Walking Tour of Gainesville Series: Downtown Historic District, Southeast Historic District, The Duckpond Neighborhood and The Pleasant Street District.
Community Education is now at the CIED’s downtown location at 530 West University Avenue.
