Santa Fe family,
It is times like these when words are inadequate. Last evening, a master teacher, great humanitarian, Santa Fe College founder and endearing friend passed away. Stuart McRae has inspired more students and professionals than anyone I have known in higher education. He was the colleague that we aspired to be. I know you join me in standing with his family, his associates in the Department of Social and Behavioral Sciences and all of us at the college who celebrate the exceptional experience. We mourn his passing. A memorial service is being planned and will be announced.
