Do you know of a Santa Fe College faculty member, staff member or student who you would like to see recognized for their commitment and service to volunteering in the Gainesville community in 2012?
Nominations are being sought for the E.T. York Work of Heart Awards, presented by Haven Hospice. Awards will be given to those who are outstanding examples of volunteerism in our community. Award categories consist of several areas of service, including the Santa Fe College award.
Nominations, due no later than Friday, Feb. 15, can be submitted through the Work of Heart Awards website.
A photo shoot of all nominees will be held on Thursday, Feb. 21. Award winners will be featured in the April/May issue of Home Magazine.
Nominees will be recognized at a reception in their honor from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19 at the SF Fine Arts Hall. Tickets to the award ceremony are $30 and can be purchased online.
