The Santa Fe College Respiratory Care program will hold an open house 9 a.m.-6 p.m. March 19 and 20 in W-49/50.
The 18-month Respiratory Care program prepares students to enter this healthcare field which has excellent employment opportunities nationwide in intensive care, OR, ER, pulmonary function lab, asthma clinic, hyperbaric chamber, equipment sales, homecare and health research.
Respiratory therapists are in high demand, with the median national salary at $55,715. Over the past five years, 98 percent of SF graduates have been placed in local jobs.
