Thanks to All Involved in Counselor’s Workshop

The Office of Admissions recently held the annual Counselor’s Workshop in the Fine Arts Hall lobby for 51 counselors from Alachua County elementary, middle and high schools. The counselors were treated to lunch while Bill Goodman, director of counseling services with the Alachua County School Board, recognized SBAC retirees. Dr. Vilma Fuentes, assistant vice president for Academic Affairs, gave updates on SF’s bachelor’s programs; Cathy Mott from the Office for Development covered SF scholarships and Julie Crosby, director of the UF@SF Center, explained UF@SF’s role on campus. Following the program, the counselors were given a personal tour of the Fine Arts Hall thanks to Bob Fetterman, theater manager.

We also want to thank Dr. Jackson Sasser, Dr. Naima Brown, Dr. Dan Rodkin and Gayle Jones for their support, as well as everyone else who helped make this annual event a success!
