Stewart and Thompson Earn NJCAA Academic All-American Honors; 23 Other Saints Honored for Academic Success

Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe sophomore student athletes Josh Stewart (baseball) and Tiara Thompson (women’s basketball) were recently honored by the NJCAA for their hard work in the classroom during their two years at SF.  Stewart received the Superior Award for Academic Excellence (3.8 GPA and better) and Thompson the Exemplary Award for Academic Excellence (3.6-3.79 GPA).

Along with the NJCAA recognition, Stewart was also named to the Florida College System Activities Association All-Academic Team (3.3 GPA or better) and Thompson to the FCSAA All-Academic Team and the Mid-Florida Conference Academic Team (3.0 GPA or better).
