Become a Partner for Strong Families July 22

Partnership for Strong Families (PFSF) will hold a volunteer and internship information session from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Monday, July 22 in S-29/30. PFSF is the leading community-based care agency for Florida Judicial Circuits 3 and 8, delivering comprehensive child welfare services to children who are victims of abuse and neglect. PFSF also works with at-risk families to prevent child abuse and to decrease the risk of children entering the out-of-home care system, serving nearly 5,000 children in 13 counties.

Volunteer and internship opportunities include tutors, preschool playtime aids, adult education assistants, donation coordinators and administrative assistants (all at the Southwest Advocacy Group Resource Center located at 807 SW 64th Terrace), library partner program volunteers (at 1130 NE 16th Ave.) and community and government relations interns (at the PFSF main office located at 5950 NW 1st Place).

This is sponsored by the Santa Fe College Office of Civic Engagement and Service. For more information,  contact Kimberly Buchholz at 352-381-3660 or kimberly.buchholz@sfcollege.edu.
