Upcoming July Sustainability Events in the Community

There are two community events relating to Sustainable Santa Fe coming up in the next few weeks.

The Civic Media Center will be showing “Who Bombed Judi Bari?” at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 22. A synopsis of the film can be found online. The cost of admission is a $3-5 suggested donation. The center is located at 433 S. Main St.

The University of Florida will be hosting a seminar and free screening of “Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition: Everglades to Okefenokee” at 6 p.m. on Monday, July 29 in Room A101 of the Comp Sci & Engineering Building on the UF campus. The documentary screening will run from 6 – 7 p.m., and the seminar, led by biologist and co-leader of the Florida Wildlife Corridor Expedition Joe Guthrie, will begin at 7:15 p.m. and go until 8 p.m. Seating will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. This event is hosted by the UF Department of Biology, Sustainable UF and the College of Education.
