A strategic goal of the Florida Department of Education is to promote quality services at educational institutions throughout the state. The Division of Florida Colleges annually recognizes colleges in the Florida College System that have established innovative practices or have enhanced existing programs. At this time, all institutions are invited to submit their top programs for this year’s Chancellor’s Best Practices Awards, which will be announced at the 64th Annual Association of Florida Colleges Convention on Monday, Nov. 11.
This year, the evaluation process has been modified. Submission forms will be used to identify potential Best Practices. You can visit the Florida Department of Education’s website to learn more about criteria that will be used for evaluation and to view past winners. All program submissions must be received by Tuesday, Aug. 20.
The Chancellor’s Best Practices Awards offer an outstanding opportunity to promote these exemplary initiatives to statewide and national audiences by sharing pioneering programs in the Florida College System.
