The Florida Department of Health, Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Program recognized Santa Fe College Assistant Professor Mike Flanagan as the EMS Educator of the Year for the State of Florida in July at the State of Florida EMS meetings in Orlando.
This award recognizes EMS Educators who have assumed a leadership role in education and made a positive contribution to EMS education in the community, state, or nation
Throughout a 30-year career, Professor Flanagan has provided EMS education to both collegiate and high school students. He is currently serving as President of the Florida Association of EMS Educators. Professor Flanagan is passionate about EMS education and public service and we congratulate him on this prestigious award.
