Santa Fe College is hosting its third Waste Audit Day in five years. Under the guidance of Alachua County Waste Alternatives student, faculty, staff, and community volunteers are needed to sort a sampling of campus trash in order to better understand steps SF College could take to reduce, reuse or recycle what is otherwise thrown away on a regular basis. This will also give us the opportunity to determine whether we have reduced our waste on campus since our last waste audits in 2008 and 2010.
Food and drinks provided. Click here to sign up for this event.
Waste Audit Day is co-sponsored by Sustainable Santa Fe, the Office of Civic Engagement & Service, the Honors Program, the Gallereans, and Saints for Sustainability.
