Leadership begins with consideration to assume it. This is a leading reason why I am gratified that we have received 59 applications for our Leadership Seminar. As a group they are impressive, individually as well. So I thank each of them for taking interest in leading our college to a new level of service.
Our Leadership Seminar will provide participants the opportunity to test further their interest in leadership and prepare those selected to assume greater levels of responsibility. It is fitting that we have assembled an excellent faculty in terms of experience in leadership, understanding about the nuances of this complex subject, and in their ability to communicate. They are listed below, along with the participants. Similarly, the participants represent many College departments and all employment classifications at Santa Fe.
Please join me in congratulating our colleagues and friends who are entering this intensive workshop from Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.
