Women’s Basketball Falls to St. Pete, 74-48

SF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL

Ocala, FL – The Santa Fe Saints (2-4) struggled to get their offense going for the second game in a row and fell to the St. Petersburg College Titans 74-48 in the first game of the College of Central Florida Women’s Shootout.

The Titans took control in the early going and used their suffocating defense to run out to a 26 point victory.  The Saints shot just 28% from the field and were 1-for-15 from behind the three point line.

Jaquasha Sesler led SF with 10 points, Stephanie Ball had eight, and Desa’Rai Shaw scored eight.

The Saints continue in the College of Central Florida Women’s Shootout on Sunday, November 16against Gulf Coast State College at 4:00 PM.  The game can be watched live at www.ihigh.com/collegeofcentralfla
