Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe College sophomore infielder Cassidy “Sid” Masso has signed a letter of intent to continue her playing career at Rollins College. Masso will compete for SF in the Spring before starting at Rollins in the Fall of 2014.
Rollins College (Winter Park, FL) competes at the NCAA Division II level in the Sunshine State Conference. The Tars, led by Head Coach Michelle Frew, finished 44-8 overall in 2012-13 and 17-7 in the SSC.
Masso was an integral part of the Saints successful run to the NJCAA Atlantic District Title and a berth in the National Tournament in 2013. As a freshman she appeared in all 61 games and hit .309 (59-for-191) with 28 runs scored, eight doubles, two triples, a homerun and 35 RBI.
“We are very happy for and proud of Sid,” said SF Coach Chris Ahern. “She is a hard worker who has a lot of talent. She will be another good representation of SF at Rollins College.”
