Fourteen Model United Nations members competed in the Southern Regional Model UN conference in Atlanta, Georgia, Nov. 22 – 24. They competed against 400 students from all over the Southeast.
The President of our team, Roberto Garcia, and the Vice President of our team, Catherine Barrios, each took home Outstanding Delegate Awards. And our delegation representing Belize (including Roberto Garcia, Catherine Barrios, Melissa Zapata, Luz Fortis, Rodolfo Oliveros, Artem Polovikov, and Brandon Gilliland) took home an Honorable Mention Award.
Our delegation from Togo also represented the Santa Fe College team as well.
