Need help quitting tobacco?

The Cardiovascular Technology and Respiratory Care Programs have once again received a Florida Department of Health grant to help educate our community regarding the dangers of tobacco use and to promote smoking cessation.

The departments will jointly host a smoking cessation program on campus including smoking cessation classes and a variety of support services. The sessions cover all forms of tobacco and will offer free group support, free nicotine patches, gum and lozenges.

The classes will be held every Wednesday from Jan. 22-Feb. 26 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. in W-51. Publix subs and drinks will be provided for all participants.

Classes will be held every Tuesday, Jan. 14 – Feb. 18, from 6 – 8 p.m. at the Andrews Center in Starke.

To register for the sessions, please call 866-341-2730.
