So, You Think You Can Pitch a Billionaire?
On Monday Jan. 20, Gainesville Area Innovative Network (GAIN) and TiE Tampa will sponsor a networking event and competition at Santa Fe College for aspiring entrepreneurs.
Kunal Jain, president of TiE, is bringing Kanwal Rekhi to Gainesville for the event. Rekhi is an angel investor from the Silicon Valley with over 53 direct investments in TiE. During the presentation, ten competitors will have the chance to pitch their ideas to Rekhi and compete with others.
The event will be held Jan. 20 at 6:30 p.m. in WA-108. Tickets are free for SF students, faculty and staff. The general public can buy tickets for $10 in advance or $15 at the door.
