Gainesville, FL – The Santa Fe Saints dropped their second consecutive game Monday afternoon in Tampa, this time to Hillsborough CC.  The Hawks scored six late runs to pull past the Saints for a 9-5 victory.  The loss moves SF to 2-3 on the season.

Connor Rooney started on the hill for Santa Fe and surrendered three runs in 3.2 innings of work.  Four relief pitchers allowed six runs, including four in the game deciding seventh inning.

SF shortstop George Ragsdale had a big game offensively, going 3-for-5 with two doubles, two runs, and one RBI.

The Saints will travel to Winter Haven on Wednesday, February 12 for a game against Polk State College at 5:00 PM.
