Ocala, FL – The third time was a charm for the College of Central Florida as they finally had the Santa Fe Saints’ number, taking the third matchup of three this season between the two teams 82-67.
The victory keeps the Patriots (12-14, 3-7 MFC) in contention for the third and final Mid-Florida Conference spot in the FCSAA State Tournament. Santa Fe (9-16, 4-6 MFC) currently sits in third place with two games to play.
Central Florida was on fire in the first half, nailing 7-of-9 three pointers in route to a 42-34 halftime advantage.
Santa Fe was never able to get their footing and fell behind further in the second half, eventually falling by 15
Jocelyn Mousty led Santa Fe with 21 points, Tori Baggett had 13, and Jaquasha Sesler scored 11.
