SF WOMEN’S BASKETBALL
Gainesville, FL – Santa Fe ended their regular season on Wednesday night in Tampa at the hands of Hillsborough CC, 88-71. Now it is a waiting game for the Saints (9-18, 4-8 MFC) who will have to wait until Saturday to find out if they secured a spot in the FCSAA State Tournament or not.
The Hawks closed out the first half on a 22-1 run and never looked back, taking the game by 17 points and in the process locking up the MFC second seed in the FCSAA State Tournament.
Areana Davis led SF with 14 points, Tori Baggett finished with 13, Desa’Rai Shaw had 10 points and eight rebounds, and Jocelyn Mousty scored 10.
