Free screening of “Hungry for Justice: Spotlight on the South” directed by SF faculty Shelley Rogers

You are invited to a free film screening, panel discussion and reception for the film, Hungry for Justice: Spotlight on the South.  Santa Fe College faculty member Shelley Rogers directed the film. The event will be held Saturday, May 10 at 7 p.m. at The Wooly in downtown Gainesville.

This film tells the story of a local Florida farm, The Family Garden, and their commitment to focus on social justice issues for their workers by seeking the Food Justice Certification (FJC) and market label.

Marty Mesh from Florida Organic Growers
Leah Cohen from the Agricultural Justice Project
