Donations of gently used sneakers or work shoes are needed this week for migrant farm workers arriving in Alachua and Marion counties for the watermelon harvest. Men’s shoes size 7-13 are especially needed. Donations can be dropped off at Lloyd Clarke’s Sports Store, 1504 NW 13th Street (across from CVS) or in the S Building Lobby. Community agencies and organizations in need of large donation pick up may contact Philip Kellerman at 372-7836.
