Pasadena Films visits SF Sept. 11

The English Department, the Fine Arts Department, the Digital Media Technology Program and Student Life, will co-sponsor a panel presentation by Pasadena Films Thursday, Sept. 11 at noon in activities room S-29.
Pasadena Films, a Los Angeles/Puerto Rico based independent Latino film production company, will be one of the featured presentations in the Latina Women League tenth anniversary Latino Film Festival, celebrating the Hispanic Heritage Month.
The director, screenwriter and producer will be in Gainesville as guests of honor of the festivalâ?Ts opening night when they will present their most recent production, Hugo, Paco, Luis y Tres Chicas Color de Rosa, a Puerto Rico/Argentina collaboration.
They have generously offered to talk to our students about the challenges, but also the many new opportunities that have opened up to young creatives in the independent film industry.
