The Santa Fe Saints took to the road on Tuesday night and came away with a big win, sweeping Lake Sumter State College 3-0, moving the Saints to 18-3 overall and 3-1 in the Mid-Florida Conference.
The Saints won the first set 25-17, took set two 25-19, and finished off the sweep 25-20. The win was the tenth straight set victory for SF, and their first in conference play.
Santa Fe will host Broward College and Webber International University on Saturday, Oct. 4 in a tri-match. SF and Broward start things off at noon, Broward and Webber play at 2 p.m., and the Saints and Webber finish things off at 4 p.m.
The next MFC match is on Tuesday, Oct. 7 in Gainesville against the College of Central Florida at 7 p.m.
