The Alachua Conservation Trust is seeking a Land Management intern now through December. ACT is a local not-for-profit that protects and restores natural Florida for future generations. The field-centered internship includes trail blazing, building boardwalks, planting native trees, removing invasive trees, prescribed fire, pioneer species removal, and potentially some public outreach activities like local creek paddles. No previous field work required, as ACT provides all training and equipment. This unpaid internship starts immediately, working Tuesdays and Thursdays now through December. For more information, contact Mark Larson, ACT Assistant Land Manager at 352-246-5932 or act.markl@gmail.com.
