Two of the top teams in the country will square off on Tuesday, October 7 in Gainesville when the nationally ranked #8 College of Central Florida Patriots make the short trip up I-75 to battle the #16 Saints at 7 p.m. in the SF Gym.
Santa Fe College currently sits at 20-3 and on Saturday became the first FCSAA Div. I team to reach the 20 win plateau this season, and have the second highest winning percentage in the state behind NJCAA #6 Miami Dade College (15-1). The Saints are at the top of the MFC standings with a 3-1 record.
Central Florida enters the contest with a 16-5 overall record, and are 2-1 in MFC play. They are coming off two of their biggest wins of the season, having defeated NJCAA #1 Tyler Junior College (3-0) and #5 Western Nebraska Community College (3-1), both on October 4 in Tyler, TX.
The meeting will be the first between Santa Fe and CF this season. The match will be available to watch live on NJCAA TV at www.ihigh.com/santafesaints
