OVERCOME FINANCIAL BARRIERS TO HIGHER EDUCATION
Low-income and first-generation college students get help & answers
during statewide financial aid program
Gainesville, Florida Students who hope to attend college will be given a clear path to federal cash assistance during a free statewide event known as Florida College Goal Sunday. On Feb. 22, financial experts will help college-bound students and their families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) from 1-4 p.m. at Santa Fe College, 3000 NW 83rd Street Bldg N, room 216, Gainesville, Florida 32606. The FAFSA helps students access billions in federal funds available for college.
Florida College Goal Sunday is a free event. Financial aid assistance will be available in English, and Spanish. Two $250 Scholarship drawings will be held for students who attend the event.
