The Santa Fe Saints are back in action at home on Monday, February 16 against Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College at 3 p.m. SF Student Life will host a tailgate from 2:30-4:30 p.m. with free pizza, Kona Ice, and more.
Sophomore Joey Stillwell will make his first start of the season on the mound. He has made three appearances so far in 2015 and sports a 4.91 ERA in 3.2 innings pitched.
The Saints are currently 10-1 and a big reason has been starting pitching. SF’s top three starters, Tom Watson, Austin Goss, and Trent Johnson, have a combined 1.45 ERA in 49.2 innings pitched, with 55 strikeouts and just five walks.
The offense has carried their weight as well, scoring 67 runs in 11 games while pounding out 108 hits.
