Shiyuan Han is a professor of Civil Law in Tsinghua University School of Law in Beijing and a Fulbright Research Scholar at Harvard Law School from September 2014 to August 2015. Dr. Han is a member of the CISG Advisory Council and an associate member of International Academy of Comparative Law. He has published several books on contract law, including The Law of Contract (2011, Law Press, China) which is now a best seller in China. Professor Han is now arbitrator of both China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC) and Beijing Arbitration Commission, and a member of the Advisory Council of Beijing Higher People’s Court. He obtained his JD from the Graduate School of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences in  Beijing in 1997 and both his LLM and LLB from Jilin University in China.
