Gyne Capuano, a long time unit aide here at Santa Fe College, as well as mother of Mathematics Professor Bettina Capuano, passed away this past Friday evening. She was a gracious friend to all who knew her, and a great help to Santa Fe faculty and countless students. She will be missed.
A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated this Saturday, March 21, at 9am, at Holy Faith Catholic Church (747 NW 43rd Street), and a guest book is available through the Gainesville Sun to share your memories of this very special woman. Additionally, there are cards available in the math office (P267) to sign if you would like which will be delivered on Saturday. The family has asked that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to Red Cross, Saint Jude Children’s hospital or the American Cancer Society.
