Santa Fe College’s Cliff Bryant is this week’s NJCAA Region 8/FCSAA Baseball Player of the Week. Bryant, a sophomore from Trenton, Fla., batted .500 (6-for-12) with four runs scored, three doubles, one home run (1.000 slugging percentage) and 10 RBIs in four games during the voting period.
Bryant hit safely in the final three games of the week, all against Florida State College at Jacksonville. In game one on April 1, he doubled and scored two runs. Two days later, he had two doubles and drove in four runs, then in game three he was a perfect 3-for-3 with a homer and five RBIs.
