The Sante Fe College TAM Team recently received the NASPA Campus Safety Knowledge Community Award for Best Practice in Prevention Activities at the annual NASPA (Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education) conference in New Orleans, http://conference2015.naspa.org/.
Best Practice in Prevention Activities include both passive and active education about campus resources, procedures, and protocols regarding institutional approach to threats, threat assessment, and threat management. TAM Team members include Chief Ed Book (Chair), Lara Zwilling (Co-Chair), Naima Brown, Lela Frye, Kim Fugate-Roberts, Michael Hutley, Susan Miller, Patti Locascio, Dan Rodkin, Carole Windsor and Ryan Woods.
