The new Coffee 101 is now open for business

The friendly team at “Coffee 101” is excited and ready to greet and serve students at the Lawrence W. Tyree Library at Santa Fe College in Gainesville, Florida after approximately two months of remodeling. The Barnes and Noble owned café is once again proudly serving Starbucks coffee and beverages, and lots of new food specialties.

The improvements to the space bring more of a café or “marketplace” vibe with the convenience of a “grab-and-go” feel with less wait time, according to Café Department Manager, Kaila Elliott.
Students can enjoy their beverages and treats in the café with plenty of power sources, outside the library or in the sun facing the rock garden including a newly installed tech bar where students can work or charge their phones and laptops under the covered library porch.
Kaila says she and the whole team are excited about the new improvements and look forward to ‘wowing’ the students with great customer service.
